Dells Dam (11 May 1916)

The Sewing Circle will meet with Mrs. Pearl Braman Thursday, May 18. Those who have log cabin blocks, please bring them.

G.D. Schultz says he feels fine this spring, but is still lost without the bridge at the Dells.

Remember the social at Mrs. Pearl Braman’s.

C.M. Horton has moved into Melvin Horton’s house and William Horton moved into Mrs. A. Horton’s house.

The wind storm Monday was a bad one and made people hang onto their hats and shut their eyes to keep them from getting blinded by dust and sand.

In many places it is too wet to sow oats.

Mrs. Wren went home to Pleasant Ridge last week.

Mike Johnson was at Neillsville one day last week in his car.

Ethel Anderson is home now.

Mrs. August Anderson and daughter visited Mrs. Scott Raether Sunday.

Carl Guse was a county seat caller Monday.

There was not much of a crowd at the bowery Saturday evening.
