Levis (18 May 1916)
A son was born to Hm. Meier and wife
on Saturday, May 6th.
Paul Blum and Mamie Roepke were married Saturday,
May 6, at the home of the bride’s parents, 1939 George St., Chicago.
John
Blum and wife and baby returned from Chicago Tuesday.
Johanna Blum
returned from Chicago Wednesday.
Robert Meier, the little son of Hm.
Meier and wife, who was very sick with pneumonia, is getting better.
Ernest Wesenberg left for Rhinelander about two weeks ago, where he expects to
work during the summer.
C. Wemuczynski is building a basement barn.
Mrs. Wm. Frank came home from Manitowoc Friday for a few days’ visit with
her brother, E. Wilde, returning home Sunday.
Fred Karger was thrown from
a buggy last Friday and sprained his wrist badly.
H.E. Reigel and
daughter of Weirgor and Elsie Schroeder of Neillsville visited at the H. Blum
home Saturday and Sunday.
Mrs. H. Lipke and children visited at the home
of H. Meier Thursday evening.
Edna Munson and Johanna Blum attended a
farewell party, given for Mrs. V.C. Burrows at the Methodist parsonage in
Neillsville Monday evening.
