North Grant (18 May 1916)
Ernest Schroeder and wife, accompanied by several of the neighbors, made a
business trip to Neillsville Saturday.
F.D. Kier purchased a registered
Holstein bull of Ross Paulson last week.
Our school closed with a picnic
at the school house last Friday. Several ladies attended.
Ben Dudei and
Fred Kier each brought home a new manure spreader last week, purchased of Hale
Davis.
Henry Pischer is moving to his farm in York, where he will reside.
Herman Krause delivered a load of potatoes at the H. Pischer farm Thursday.
Jim Hughes and wife spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. F. Kier.
Wm. Worchel moved his family to his own farm and Mr. Dudei and son are now
batching.
Jim Hughes autoed to Neillsville Saturday night to exercise his
new car.
