Kimball, Martha F. #2 (16 JAN 1858 - 16 AUG 1908)

Mrs. Martha Florence Kimball died last Sunday at Chetek at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ada Bosworth. The remains were brought here for burial, services being conducted Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Risser and interment being made at the side of her husband, J. A. Kimball.

Martha Florence Youmans was born in Columbia County, Wis., Jan. 16, 1858. She received a common school education and at the age of 15 years, began teaching. In 1872 she moved with her parents to Barron County and abut nine years later the family removed to Clark County. Here she continued teaching, being a teacher in the primary grade of the north side school, until June 15, 1891 when she was united in marriage to J. A. Kimball, deceased.

Mrs. Kimball was a lady of many most excellent characteristics and will remain a bright spot in the memory of her many friends. She is survived by one brother, H. J. Youmans of Platteville, and one sister, Mrs. Ada Bosworth of Chetek. Mr. Youmans was here in attendance at the funeral.
