Packard, Dorothy (20 AUG 1908)
Last Thursday Harvey A. Schofield and Miss Dorothy Burnham Packard were married at Stevens Point, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. K. E. Packard. They arrived here (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) Friday and are preparing to take up housekeeping in Mrs. Meyer’s house opposite the South Side school house. They will be at home to their friends after Sept. 15th.
Mrs. Schofield is a very accomplished and refined young lady and is spoken of in the most favorable terms by all who have the pleasure of her acquaintance. For three years she has taught domestic science in the Marshfield schools.
During the year past in which Mr. Schofield has been the principal of the high school here, he had made a deep impression by his unusual mental attainments and high integrity. He is a sterling young man of whom his friends expect a bright future.
