Walters, Melvina #2 (25 AUG 1908)
Tuesday afternoon Max L. Lange and Miss Melvina Walters were quietly married at Chili (Clark Co., Wis.).
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Risser at the home of the bride’s sister, in the presence of a few friends and relatives. Miss Mida Visgar was the bridesmaid and Ed Schoengarth the best man. The happy couple left on the midnight train for Milwaukee and upon their return to Neillsville will commence housekeeping in the flat above Mr. Lange’s bakery.
Mrs. Lange is one of the most estimable young ladies in Clark County, and during the time she was a clerk at Tragsdorf, Zimmerman & Co.’s store, she made a large circle of acquaintances. She as a pleasant and genial disposition and Max is indeed fortunate in his selection of a helpmate. Mrs. Lange is one progressive young businessmen of Neillsville and is energetic and reliable. He is a careful businessman and successful in his undertakings. The Times extends its congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Lange.
