The Republican and Press came out last week square footed for R. M. LaFollette for governor. Mr. LaFollette has many influential admirers in Clark county and it may be possible they will carry the county for him.
A great number of land buyers were in the city last week looking up Clark county land. They express themselves very favorable impressed.
Ed. Billings returned home from Athens last week. He has been teaching there.
Ira B. Bradford was here last week looking after his political interests.
