Funeral services for Mrs. Axel Johnson, 42, Abbotsford, who died at the Owen hospital at noon Sunday, were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Zink Funeral Home, where the body was lying in state.
The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated at the rites and burial was made at Dorchester, Wis.
Pallbearers were Chris Bremer, Albert Leichtnam, Frank Lukas, George Lundahl, Arvid Carlson, and Albert Hertz.
The flowers were carried by Mrs. Norman Lukas, Mrs. Carl Morrow, Mrs. Chris Bremer, Mrs. Ole Hanson and Mrs. George Lundahl.
Mrs. Johnson, nee Elsie Aldinger, was born in Geneva, Ill., Oct. 11, 1904 and she was married March 22, 1928.
She had been in poor health for several years and was taken to the hospital on Thursday where she died Sunday.
She is survived by her husband, a foster daughter, Mrs. Henry (Dorothy) Blanke, Curtiss; and four brothers, Louis, Green Bay; Clarence, Marshall; Edward, Merrillan, and Gorry, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her parents preceded her in death.
