Berry, Lenore (Marriage - 23 May 1947)

Miss Lenore Berry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Berry of Colby, became the bride of Ben M. Riplinger, son of Mrs. Verna Riplinger, of Colby, Friday afternoon, May 23. The ceremony was performed at Christ Presbyterian Chapel at Madison before the Rev. Dr. Zimmer, at 4:00 o’clock. The bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Brehm, attended the couple.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Colby high school. The groom has served in the army and has been attending the University of Wisconsin.

They will make their home in Madison, where the groom is employed by the Business Men’s Assurance Association. For the past two years, the bride has been employed at Heineman’s Department Store, at Wausau.

Mr. and Mrs. Riplinger and Mr. and Mrs. Brehm, whose marriage took place the previous week, left on a trip to lakes in northern Wisconsin. Both couples are leaving for their respective homes on Saturday.
