School began Monday with Jim Fradette as teacher.
The
Hemlock Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Geo. Einfeldt on Wednesday afternoon,
Sept. 8.
Sam Smith is reported better at this writing.
The
Limprecht and Joe Schwarz families spent Saturday at Marshfield attending the
Federation picnic.
Oliver Windom called on the Melentines at Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Prosser and children of Iowa spent Wednesday night at the
Markee home.
Rev. Borchardt is spending a few weeks in West Beaver.
Mrs. Welsh spent Friday afternoon at the Dakin's home.
Threshing is
the order of the day.
Will Rossman is visiting his daughter Mable at
Rosendale.
Edward and Gerald Steffen and Joe Adams are attending the fair
at Milwaukee.
Quite a crowd of girls in the neighborhood gathered at the
George Einfeldt home to help Edith celebrate her birthday last Saturday.
Everyone reports a good time.
Fred bush is building a basement under his
house.
Mr. Herr is putting up a new tool shed.
