Funeral services were conducted at St. Hedwig’s Church here at 10:00 o’clock Friday morning for Frank J. Anyzewski, 59, who died at St. Mary’s Hospital at Baraboo, Monday, April 14th, 1952 following a heart attack. He had been on his way to Cross Plains, Wis. to visit his daughter, Mrs. Wendell Hottman. Rev. Francis Piekarski officiated, assisted by Rev. H. Zoromski and Rev. J. Kamla.
The deceased was born in Chicago, Ill. on May 9, 1892, the son of Mary and the late Florian Anyzewski. He came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) with his parents over fifty years ago and resided here since that time.
On July 7, 1915, he was united in marriage to Julia Razner of Stevens Point.
Thirty-six years ago he entered the hardware business with Joe Pawlak, later purchasing Mrs. Pawlak’s interest and continuing the business until death.
He was a member of the local group f the Polish national Alliance and St. Hedwig’s Holy Name Society, both of these organization attending the funeral in a body.
He is survived by his wife and two children, one son, Roman of South Gate, Calif. And a daughter, Alyce, Mrs. Wendell Hottman of Cross Plains, Wis., one sister, Mrs. Joseph Pawlak of Thorp, and seven grandchildren, Dolores Anyzewski of South Gate and Wendell, Susan, Julie, Jacqueline, Bonnie and Mary Hottman of Cross Plains.
