Lube, Kenneth Lee “Ken” (25 Apr 1941 – 17 Jan 2022)
Kenneth, “Ken” Lee Lube, 80, of Owen, passed away on Jan. 17, 2022, at the
Aspirus Medford Hospital.
Kenneth was born on April 25, 1941, to Herbert and Margaret Lube of Colby. Ken
enjoyed life on their dairy farm with his siblings and graduated from Colby High
School in 1959. He went on to log many miles and see much of the country as a
life-long trucker but was always happy to return home. He is now enjoying his
heavenly home with His Savior.
Ken is survived by his: sisters: Joyce (Richard) Hamann and Judi (Dave) Mueller;
his brother, Randy (Paula) Lube; his four children: Tod (Joann) Lube, Tammi
(Michael) Rigney, Sean (Jennifer) Lube and Lisa (Jay) Matton; as well as his
grandchildren: Tessa Lube, Krysta (Josh) Godsey and Shaylee Matton; one
great-grandchild, Alan Yates; a niece, Eva (Asa) Coppinger; and nephews: Dallas
Hamann and Clay Lube. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and
Margaret Lube and his niece, Courtney DePippo.
Ken enjoyed watching football, following NASCAR, caring for animals and spending
time with his family and friends. He was a kind hearted man always willing to
lend a hand and will be missed by his family and friends. A private memorial
will be held at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Alex
Williams, William Cahoon and John Lorenz.
