Neillsville: Mike Rizner, 88, of 28 S. Court St., Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), died Thrusday evening at the Memorial Hospital here.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Georgas Funeral Home in Neillsville. The Rev. Gary Clark, pastor of the United Church of Christ, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Levis Cemetery at Neillsville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Sunday until time of services Monday.
Mr. Rizner was born Aug. 24, 1884, in Austria, and received his education in schools there. He came to the United States at the age of 18 and worked in the Steel mills in Pittsburgh, Pa. He then moved to Chicago, where he had been employed as a cabinet maker for the Kimball Piano Company.
In 1909, he came to Clark County and farmed in the town of Washburn until 1948. For several years he resided on the farm with his son, until moving to the city of Neillsville in 1962.
He was married at Chicago in December of 1907 tothe former Rose Kalas, who preceded him in death in 1961.
He is survived by six sons, Anton Rizner; Emil Rizner and William Rizner, all of Neillsville; Edward Rizner of Tomah; George Rizner, West Allis; and Frank Rizner, New Berlin; two daughters, Miss Albie Rizner and Mrs. Bessie Meier, both of Neillsville; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Western Fraternal Bohemian Lodge.
