North O’ Curtiss
Mr. Kenneth Flood of Stevens Point, who has been visiting at the Verhulst home, returned to his home last Sunday.
Miss Edna Bakke, who teaches at the Brady school, began school Monday after a two weeks vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Goessl entertained a group of friends n New Years Eve and watched the old year out. Cards were played and a fine lunch was served.
Miss Helen Verhulst, who spent the holidays her with her mother, returned to her school duties at St. Point Monday
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lupient and daughters Marion, Lorraine and Alta and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Brady and daughter Beulah spent New Years day at the Fred Pudlas home.
Esther Pudlas, who has been employed in Owen returned to her home last Wednesday.
Marion Lupient spent the holidays with her parents, returned to Laona to resume her school work.
Mr. and Mrs. Rhinehart Klocke and family spent New Years day at the Paul Schultz home.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ravy and family of Unity were visitors at the W. A. Ravy home last Sunday.
Quite a number from around Curtiss attended the musical program at the Owen Congregational church Sunday evening.
Mrs. Donald Trowbridge of Milladore and Mrs. Irvin Koerner of Curtiss, were callers a the Charles Brady home last Wednesday.
