Margaret Christine Heiting, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Heiting, Abramowicz (apparently a line was cut from the article) of Lublin, in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Edmund Cramer at St. Ann’s Catholic Church at Stanley at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21st, 1952.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a gown of Chantilly lace over satin with a fitted bodice and Peter Pan collar. Her satin skirt was designed with front accordion pleats and she wore a circular cut train. Her wedding bouquet was of red and white roses. Her fingertip veil fell from a net four tier pleated crown with lily of the valley trim and she wore the groom’s gift of a three-strand necklace with matching earrings.
The maid of honor was Carol Jean Victory of Cudahy, Wis., who wore a strapless gown of double net skirt over satin, with a fitted bodice and satin bolero with matching satin hat, the bridesmaids, Joan Penk in aqua, Eleanor Karpinski in deep rose, both wore costumes identical to that of the maid of honor and carried bouquets of yellow and white chrysanthemums. The bride’s gift to her attendants were rhinestone necklaces and earrings.
Edward Abramowicz attended the groom, his brother, as best man. Groomsman was Bernard Jacque, cousin of the bride, and Robert Schmitz and Walter Abramowicz of Stanley and Lublin, served as ushers.
Little Rose Ann Heiting, dressed similar to the bride, was flower girl and wore the bride’s gift of a gold locket while carrying a large bouquet of white carnations. Gerald Allen Heiting served as ring bearer.
The bride’s mother was dressed in a violet check suit with black accessories and the groom’s mother in navy blue. Both wore corsages of yellow and white chrysanthemums.
The wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents and a reception attended by 300 persons took place at St. Hedwig’s Hall in Thorp, with dinner at 12:00 noon.
The bride is a graduate of Stanley High School and an employee of the Thorp Finance Corp. The groom is employed on his father’s farm near Lublin.
The couple will make their home in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) after Nov. 16th.
