Penkala, Albert (23 JUN 1879 - 5 FEB 1953)

Albert Penkala, 74, farmer in the Town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away after a short illness at the St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls on Feb. 5, 1953.

The deceased was born in Poland on June 23, 1879.

He is survived by one son, Frank and one daughter, Minnie, both of Thorp.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church here on Feb. 9th at ten o’clock in the morning, Rev. Francis Piekarski officiating, assisted by Father Zoromski and Father Eugene Knopka.

He was laid to rest in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were, Basil Harycki, Frank Sierociuk, Walter Juzwiak, Ed Deutschlander, Leon Kudingo and Malen Juzwiak.
