Stasek, Emil Andrew (11 May 1907 - 3 Feb. 1996)

 

OWEN - Emil Andrew Stasek, 88, Owen, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, on Saturday, Feb. 3, 1996, at 6:25 p.m., at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen with Father Joseph Follmar officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Maurina Funeral Home.

Mary Stasek (7 Feb 1908 - 5 Aug 1982)

Mrs. Emil (Mary M.) Stasek, 74, Owen, died at 2 a.m. today (August 5, 1982) at the Continental Manor Nursing Home in Abbotsford.


Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen, wit the Rev. Richard L. Fliss officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.


Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, where a parish rosary service will be at 8 p.m.
The former Mary M. Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max (Caroline Bachmier) Hoffman, was born Feb. 7, 1908 at Marshfield. Her marriage to Emil Stasek took place Sept. 4, 1929 at Dorchester. He survives.


They lived in the Town of Hoard until 1955, when they moved to Rice Lake and operated a motel until 1967. They then came to Owen.


She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.


In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Roger, Rochester, Minn.; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Joyce) Esselman, Appleton; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Margaret) Hiebsch, Owen; two brothers, Alfred Hoffman, Marshfield, and Edward Hoffman Colby.; and four grandchildren.


She was predeceased by her parents, a sister and four brothers.
