Marjorie "Marge" G. Erickson, 95, died Saturday, November 30, 2013,
at Golden Living Center, Abbotsford.
Funeral service will be Noon on
Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Christ United Church, Athens. Rev. Teri Hanson
and Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate. Burial will be in Athens Village
Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, December 4, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again on Thursday from
10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers,
a memorial fund is being established.

Marjorie G. Erickson, age 95,
died Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Abbotsford.
She
was born June 6, 1918 in Tomahawk, daughter of the late August and Adella
(Zellmer) Krueger. On June 28, 1944 she married Morris Erickson in San Antonio,
Texas. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1984.
Marge graduated from
St. Mary's Nursing School and worked in Wausau and San Antonio as a nurse for
six years and then began helping her husband on the farm. Some of her hobbies
included playing cards, baking bread and cookies and knitting. She was a member
of various homemaker clubs, card clubs and the American Legion Auxiliary,
Athens. Marjorie will be remembered for her sweet smile, gentle heart and
wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include her sons, Mark (Roxanne)
Erickson, Medford and Thomas Erickson, Athens; nieces, nephews and lots of great
friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Morris, she was preceded in
death by three brothers, Louis, Harold and Norman Krueger.
Funeral
service will be Noon on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Christ United Church,
