Miss Doris Fitzl, daughter of Ed Fitzl of Stanley, and Lyle Gilberts, son of Mrs. Nellie Gilberts of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon at two-thirty by Justice of the Peace, Fred Korn of Stanley.

A navy blue suit with white accessories was chosen by the bride for her marriage. A corsage of red roses and white carnations were pinned to her lapel. Her attendant was her friend, Miss Donna Lou Nerdrum, who also wore a suit of navy blue with white accessories and a similar corsage.

Attending the groom as best man was Joseph Kraich of Thorp.

A reception was held Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Nye. The couple will make their home on a farm east of Thorp.
