Deuermeyer, Alma #2 (3 AUG 1900 - 9 JUN 1945)

Funeral services for Mrs. William (Alma) Deuermeyer, 44, who passed away at her home in the town of Beaver on Saturday, June 9, were held at Trinity Lutheran church last Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. J. C. Langholz officiated and burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery. Mrs. Deuermeyer had been ill since last January.

Mrs. Deuermeyer was born on Aug. 3, 1900, in the town of Loyal, where she lived until 1925. After living in the village of Loyal for two years, she returned to the town of Loyal, and last April moved to the town of Beaver.

On July 29, 1925, she married Anton Loppnow, who died on Sept. 16, 1927, one son Anton surviving from this marriage. On Dec. 17, 1930, she was married to William Deuermeyer, and they had one daughter, Wilma, who survives.

Surviving, besides her husband and the two children, are three sisters, Mrs. Otto Schwan, Mrs. Albert Foelske and Mrs. Adolph Gretzner, all of Loyal, and six brothers, Adolph Luther of Loyal, Otto Luther of Marshfield, Emil Luther of Greenwood, Frank Luther of Shelby, Mont., Martin Luther of Portland, Ore., and John Luther of Wausau.

She was confirmed in the Lutheran church and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church of Loyal.

Those from away who attended the funeral included: Mr. and Mrs. Lester Luther and family of Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Luther, Mrs. Fred Schlafke and daughter, Mrs. Chester Seehafer and Mr. and Mrs. William Reese of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. John Luther of Wausau; Mrs. Erich Schultz and son, Eugene, of Fond du Lac; Mrs. Hugo Lau of Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Grob and children and Miss Hattie Plath of Spencer; the Rev. and Mrs. August Quandt of Coloma; Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Pingle and daughter of Seymour; Mrs. Ray Miller of Unity, and Mr. and Mrs. Clem Hickey and family and Mrs. Gustie Brooks of Park Falls.

The Tribune extends to the bereaved its sympathy in the loss of a loved one.
