Pfeffer, Lorraine (Marriage - 16 Aug. 1947)
Miss Lorraine Pfeffer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pfeffer, Edgar, was married Aug. 16 to Edward E. Kralcik, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kralcik, Sr., Wausau, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Fenwood, the Rev. T. E. Deimer officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fasse, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, of Milan, were the best man and matron of honor. Other attendants included bridesmaids, Miss Bette Lallanthin, Edgar, and Miss Alice Bohman, of Stratford, cousins of the bride; and Miss Elizabeth Swaboda, Colby; groomsmen, John Ludkey, Edgar, cousin of the bride; Brice Bender, Colby, and Gordon Holtman, Fenwood; flower girl, Kathleen Potts, Wausau, niece of the groom; ring bearer, Allen Bohman, Stratford, cousin of the bride.
The bride wore a gown of white satin and the sweetheart neckline was accented with sequins from her mother’s wedding halo. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. The matron of honor and the bridesmaids wore identical pink gowns, matching pink hats and white flowers. The flower girl was dressed in pink embroidered organdy with a matching pink hat.
The bride is a graduate of the Edgar high school and the Wood County Normal school. The groom is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school. After a wedding trip to northern lakes the couple will live in Wausau, where the groom is employed.
