Mrs. Julia Krupa, 71, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Janowiak in Chicago on Friday evening, July 3rd, 1953, after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Krupa was born Julia Chrobak in Warsaw, Poland and came to this country when a young girl. She was married to Andrew Krupa at Chicago, Ill., and lived their several years before moving to a farm north of Eidsvold in the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
They moved to Thorp 12 years ago and lived their until Sept. 1952, when they went to live with their daughter in Chicago.
Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 13, 1952, one brother, 4 children and three grandchildren also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Louis (Bernice) Janowiak and 5 sons, Nick of Thorp, Frank of Milwaukee, Mike of Thorp, John and Louis of Gilman. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning, July 8 at 11 o’clock at St. Fidelis Church in Chicago, Ill, with interment at St. Adelbert’s Cemetery, Chicago.
