Jarocki, Helen (7 SEP 1870 - 2 JUL 1953)

Mrs. Helen Jarocki, 82, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Wegner in the Township of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), of old age infirmities on Thursday, July 2nd, 1953.

Helen Twarowski was born in Poland on Sept. 7, 1870. She was married on July 11, 1893 to Alex Jarocki. They came to America and resided on a farm in the town of Withee for 43 years, retiring in 1943 and moving to the city of Thorp.

Mrs. Jarocki was a member of St. Hedwig’s Congregation, the Holy Rosary Society and the Third Order of St. Francis.

She leaves to mourn, three sons, John of Detroit, Mich., Bruno of Withee, and Edward of Thorp; four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Pauline) Surdacki of Detroit, Mrs. Joseph (Mae) Ludwig of Kaukauna, Wis., Mrs. John (Harriet) Czarnecki of Detroit and Mrs. John (Mary) Wegner of Thorp; also 26 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in August of 1948.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Monday morning, July 6th at ten o’clock, Rev. Francis Piekarski officiating, assisted by Rev. Herbert Zoromski and Rev. Eugene Knopka. Burial was made in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Phil Niedzwiecki, Mike Kaminski, Malen Balicki, Henry Balicki, Edward Przybylski and Louis Malecki Jr.

Persons from out of town attending the funeral of Mrs. Alex Jarocki July 6th were: Mrs. Edward Surdacki, Mrs. John Czarnecki and Mr. and Mrs. John Jarocki of Detroit, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ludwig of Kaukauna, Wis.; and Mrs. Louis Dudkiewicz, Phil Dudkiewicz and Kenny Tomczak of Green Bay.
