Badzinski, Elizabeth G. (2 JUL 1953)

Before an altar banked with bouquets of gladioli and other garden flowers, ferns and candelabra, Miss Elizabeth G. Badzinski, 305 So. Cedar Ave., Marshfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Badzinski, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged nuptial vows during a service at 9 o’clock Thursday morning, July 2nd, 1953 in St. Hedwig’s Church, Thorp, with David A. Kraemer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kraemer, Marshfield. The Rev. Francis Piekarski officiated at the High Mass and performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride, who approached the altar down the white carpeted aisle on the arm of her father, wore a French imported lace and nylon gown. The lace bodice was designed with a sweetheart neckline and long lace sleeves that extended into points over her wrists. The full skirt was detailed with lace inserts. Her fingertip veil was secured to a crown of rhinestones and pearls and she carried an arrangement of red roses tied with rosebud streamers.

Miss Angeline Kubs, Marshfield, as maid of honor, was attired in a strapless Nile green formal of nylon tulle.

The three bridesmaids, Miss Rachel Kraemer, sister of the groom, and Mrs. George Badzinski, the bride’s sister-in-law, of Marshfield, and Miss Theresa Mertens of Eau Claire, wore orchid colored frocks styled identical to the maid of honor’s.

George Badzinski, brother of the bride, was best man, and Jim Kraemer, Watertown, a cousin of the groom, and Ray Hager, Marshfield, were groomsmen.

The bride was a graduate of the Thorp High School and is employed by the Albert H. Weinbrenner Co., Marshfield. The groom who graduated from the Marshfield High School, spent two years in the Navy. He is employed at the post office at Marshfield.
