Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church at Chicago, Ill., was the setting Saturday, July 11th, 1953 at 3 p.m. for the wedding of Miss Trudy Pacholski, daughter of Mrs. John Pacholski of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), to Mr. Frank Narlock Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Narlock of Chicago.

Father T. J. Long read the double ring ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, John Pacholski.

Pink and white gladioli adorned the altar.

While the bride placed a bouquet of white lilies on the altar before the Blessed Virgin, the choir sang, "On This Day Oh Beautiful Mother."

White tulle over summer satin with train formed the bride’s gown, styled with lace bodice and Victorian collar, and long sleeves. A coronation crown of beaded pearls and changeable sequins secured her French illusion veil.

She carried a white prayer book with white roses centered with an orchid and rosebud streamers.

Trudy chose her niece, Miss Noreen Matusek as junior maid of honor. She wore a yellow strapless gown of nylon net over taffeta, with lace bolero jacket, and a yellow beaded coronation crown and carried a bouquet of orchid carnations.

The bridesmaids Mrs. Gerald Brunett, also niece of the bride, and Miss Gloria Musielewicz, a friend of the bride, were dressed identically to the maid of honor in orchid and carried bouquets of yellow carnations.

The groom chose his cousin Mr. Gerald Brunett as best man and his brother-in-law Mr. William Mien as groomsmen, all wore tuxedos of white coats and black trousers and white carnation boutonnieres.

The bride’s mother was present in a rose dress with gray accessories, and the groom’s mother wore a light blue dress with navy accessories. Their corsages consisted of white carnations and pink rose bud.

After the ceremony the reception was held at the Norwegian American Hall, for close relatives and friends.

The bride is a graduate of Thorp High School and Eau Claire Business College and has been employed in the office of Poray Inc. of Chicago.

The groom is a graduate of Lane Tech High School and Wright Junior College of Chicago. At present he is serving int eh U. S. Marine Corps.

After a honeymoon trip through the southern states, the young couple will make their home near Camp La June, N.C., where the groom is stationed.
