Elmer, Lester (2nd Lt. Commission - 15 Dec 1951)

Lester Elmer, who was commissioned second Lieutenant and received his wings on Dec. 15th, 1951 at the Williams Air Force Base, Chandler, Ariz., recently enjoyed a 15 day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Elmer.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer and Fritz Franz attended the graduation in Arizona, returning home on Dec. 21st.

Lester has been transferred to the Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nevada, where he will take an 8 week training course in Fighter gunnery.
