Schwarze, William Joseph #2 (19 SEP 1875 -
4 JAN 1952)
William Joseph Schwarze was born in Plymouth, Wis. On Sept.
19, 1875, the son of John and Katherine Schwarze. He moved to this community in
1877.
He was united in marriage to Alma Rindfleisch on Dec. 24, 1908.
Nine children were born to this union: Ernest of Monroe; Arnold and Harold of La
Crosse; Wm. Jr. of Milwaukee; Paul of Racine; Donald of the U.S. Navy; Gertrude
of Los Angeles; (Cecelia) Mrs. Lloyd Halvorsen of Hillman, Minn.; and Arlene,
Mrs. Robert Mason of Delavan, Wis. In addition to the children, 11
grandchildren, two brothers, Alfred of Texas and Arthur of Greenwood, and one
sister, (Clara) Mrs. Wm. Wohlfeil of Watertown, survive.
His wife
preceded him in death on June 4, 1933.
Mr. Schwarze passed away Jan. 4,
1952 at Greenwood, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services wee
conducted from the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at
2:00 p.m., with Rev. Charles A. Koch officiating. The Schiller Funeral Home was
in charge.
