Will, Johanna (22 July 1878 - 11 Nov. 1947)
The first service to be held in the Assembly of God church will be the funeral rites for Mrs. O. A. Will, who died at St. Mary’s hospital, Rochester, Tuesday afternoon at 5:45. On Saturday afternoon there will be services at 1:30 at the Zink Funeral Home where the body is lying in state, and at 2:00 o’clock at the church. The Rev. William Grams of Athens, and the Rev. George Samuelson, Abbotsford, will officiate.
Internment will be made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Johanna Handel, daughter of Herman and Florence Handel, was born in Germany, July 22, 1878. When she was 6 years old she came to New York with her parents and lived there two years. The family then moved to the town of Deer Creek, near Little Black.
On Nov. 1, 1906, she was united in marriage at the home of her parents, to Otto A. Will. The young couple lived on a farm in the town of Little Black for 29 years, when Mr. Will gave up farming and was engaged in well drilling. They moved to Abbotsford and have lived here since.
Mr. and Mrs. Will went on a trip to the west coast this past summer and on the return trip Mrs. Will became very ill while at Seattle, and was taken to Rochester, Minn., on Sept. 11, where death occurred Nov. 11.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Walter, of Carsonville, Mich., and Mrs. William (Myrtle) Bernard, of Seattle, Wash. Six grand children also survive.
