Klocke, Amelia (17 Oct. 1859 - 7 Feb. 1948)
Funeral rites were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Curtiss, for Mrs. Amelia Klocke, 88, Curtiss, who died Saturday at the Medford hospital where she was a patient for a week. She was an invalid for many years.
The Rev. M. C. Goetsch was the officiating clergyman and burial was made in Pine Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Klocke was born in Germany Oct. 17, 1859, received her education there, and was married in Sheboygan to Fred Klocke, who died in 1917.
She lived in Sheboygan for about two years when they moved to their home farm, two and one-half miles north of Curtiss in the town of Hoard, 66 years ago. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church.
Surviving are two sons, Reinhard Klocke, on the home farm, and Arthur Klocke, on a farm in Hoard. There are three grand children and seven great grand children.
