Koch, Rev. Charles (First Sermon - 6 JAN 1952)
Rev. Charles Koch preached
his first sermon Sunday, Jan. 6, as the new pastor of Immanuel West Side and
Zion Evangelical and Reformed Churches.
Rev. Koch and family moved into
the newly redecorated West Side Parsonage on Wednesday, Jan. 2. Rev. Koch had
been pastor of the Zwingli Evangelical and Reformed Church, Rice Lake, Wis., for
the past 3 1/2 years. While in Rice Lake he had served as President of the City
Ministerial Association, and was secretary of the Northern Lakes Ministerial
Association, a district group.
A native of Plymouth, Wis., Rev. Koch was
graduated from Mission House Seminary in 1948 and went directly to Rice Lake. He
is married and has two children.
