Funeral services for Victor Hudec, 70, of Neillsville, who
died June 28, at Mt. Washington Sanatorium in Eau Claire, are to be held this
(Thursday) afternoon at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. Bishop Forrest
Jefferson of Arkdale is to officiate, with burial to take place in the
Neillsville City Cemetery.
Victor Hudec, the son of Frank and Barbara
(Ranek) Hudec, was born May 10, 1901, in Chicago, Ill., where he received his
education. His family came to Clark County in 1941 and farmed in the Town of
Levis. He returned to Chicago and served with the Co. D of the 125th Armored
Engineer Btn during World War II. He was discharged on November 21, 1942.

Funeral services for Victor Hudec, 70, of Neillsville, who died June 28, at Mt.
Washington Sanatorium in Eau Claire, were held Thursday, July 1, at 1:30 p.m.
from the Georgas Funeral Home. Bishop Forest Jefferson of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints, Arkdale, officiated and burial was made in the
Neillsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers for Mr. Hudec were: Andrew Kurasz,
Donald Havlicek, Edward Houdek, George Houdek, Charles Gorst, and Guy Cole. “Oh
My Faith” and “In My Father’s House” were sung by Mrs. Donald Ripplinger, who
was accompanied by Dr. Ripplinger.

Dankemyer of Nekoosa, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Walters of Loyal.
