Funeral services for Fred Machlett, who died unexpectedly, Saturday morning, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Evangelical Lutheran church at Curtiss after which internment was made in the parish cemetery. The Rev. G. E. Borreson was the officiating minister.

The pallbearers were George Hoff, Lee Smiley, Grant Herrick, John Michlig, Alfred Erickson, and Albert Klessig.
