Mueller, Lila (Marriage - 5 June 1948)
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph J. Thieme are now on a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin and will be at home to friends in Abbotsford after June 14. Mr. Thieme is employed at the Harmony Cooperative Produce Co. plant at Colby, Wis.
Their marriage took place Saturday afternoon, at 1:30, June 5, at Christ Lutheran church, Abbotsford, Wis. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated at the ceremony during which the Misses Dorothy Kieser and Inez Gust sang "O Perfect Love" and "The Lord Is My Shepherd."
Mrs. Lila Mueller, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armin Barts, chose a white linen suit with brown accessories and a shoulder corsage of yellow roses, for her wedding.
Attending the bride were her sister, Mrs. Everett Denzin, in a tan suit, and Mrs. Raymond Thieme, sister-in-law of the groom, who wore a light gray suit. Both attendants wore brown and white accessories and shoulder corsages of red roses.
The groom, who is the son of Fred Thieme, Colby, was attended by Mr. Denzin and his brother, Raymond Thieme.
Supper for 65 relatives was served at the home of the bride’s parents, which was decorated with aqua, yellow, and white streamers.
Out of town guests included Anold Thieme, Racine; Mrs. Lorraine Ott and Victor Multerer, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Patrie and family, Eau Claire; and Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Gustafson and family, Unity, Wis.
