Wiersig, Olga R. (Marriage - 16 June 1948)
Richard H. Behrens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Behrens, Town of Hull, claimed as his bride, Miss Olga R. Wiersig, daughter of Ewald Wiersig, also of the Town of Hull, Wednesday afternoon, June 16, at the Zion Lutheran parsonage at Colby, Wis. The Rev. Otto Hoffmann officiated.
Miss Hilda Wiersig, sister of the bride, and Reginald Behrens, brother of the groom attended the couple.
The bride wore a dress of yellow and rust gabardine, white accessories and a shoulder corsage yellow tea roses and white carnations. The maid of honor wore a light blue two piece print dress with white and gold accessories. Her shoulder corsage consisted of white and pink carnations and blue cornflowers.
A wedding supper was served the bridal party at the home of the bride’s cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Hass at Abbotsford, Wis.
The bride had been employed for the past nine months at Mueller’s restaurant in Colby, Wis. The couple will reside on the groom’s farm in the town of Hull.
