Kraut, Ida (20 Nov. 1886 - 5 July 1948)
Mrs. Ida Kraut, 61 years old, of Curtiss, died at St. Joseph’s hospital, at Marshfield, at midnight Monday. Death was attributed to a heart attack and other complications. She was admitted to the hospital Sunday evening.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 o’clock at the Curtiss Evangelical and Reformed church with the Rev. Franz Paul Puhlmann officiating, and internment will take place in the Pine Hill cemetery, Curtiss.
The body is lying in state at the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) at Owen. At 11 a.m. Friday it will be taken to the church to remain until the time of the services.
Ida Kind was born Nov. 20, 1886, in Wiley, Minn., and was married to Frank Kraut June 19, 1910. They had made their home in Curtiss for the remainder of their lives. Mr. Kraut died in August, 1944.
Surviving are two sons, Franklin of Owen, and Donald, Curtiss; three daughters, Mrs. Gorton (Pearl) Vorland, Colby; Mrs. William (Ethel) Zuelke, Madison, and Marie at home; and five grandchildren.
Surviving also are three brothers, Otto Kind, Greenwood; Adolph Kind, Milwaukee; and Eddie Kind, New Holstein; and three sisters, Mrs. Richard Pohl, Curtiss; Mrs. Herman Pigel, Chilton; and Mrs. Lena Hartwig, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
