Perry N. Farmer, 79, of Tucson, Ariz., died Thursday night at the Sacred Heart Hospital after a brief illness.
Farmer, a former resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), was stricken while visiting his sons at Eau Claire.
Funeral services were held on Monday at 9 a.m. at the Stokes and Sons Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Herbert Juneau officiating, and the body was then taken to Richland Center, with services at 2 p.m. and burial in Fancy Creek Cemetery near Richland Center.
Before going to Tucson, Mr. Farmer lived in Eau Claire and for 15 years had been employed at the Drummond Packing Co. plant.
Surviving are sour sons, Curtis, Paul, George and Alvin, all of Eau Claire, four daughters, Mrs. Anton Hagen of Thorp, Mrs. L. G. Ingrime of Tucson, Mrs. Hollis Bonnin of Eau Claire, Mrs. Arne Anderson of Madison, 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
