Vander Boom, Claude (1902? - 30 Oct. 1948)

Mrs. Lillian Ellerman and daughter, Loretta, returned from Okauchee, Saturday, where they had been for a week having been called there by the unexpected death of her brother-in-law, Claude Vander Boom, 46 years old, caused by leukemia, on Oct. 30. Funeral services were held Nov. 2 at St. Joan of Arc’s church at Okauchee.

Mr. and Mrs. Vander Boom and Vernon Ellerman had spent a vacation here in September, at which time he seemed in good health.

He leaves his widow, the former Violet Kelnhofer, of Abbotsford, one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Patricia) Dublinski, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Vander Boom, and two brothers and three sisters.
