Carter, Marcella (Marriage - 17 Nov. 1948)

Miss Marcella Carter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Carter, Milan, and Roman Schreiber, also of Milan, were married Nov. 17 at St. Thomas’ Catholic church, Milan.

The Rev. Bernard Schreiber read the solemn Nuptial High Mass, with the Rev. Gailen Muller, sub-deacon, and the Rev. Raymond Schultz, deacon, assisting.

Attending as best man and matron of honor were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schreiber, Abbotsford, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Weiland, Stratford, also attended the couple.

White satin formed the bridal gown, which was accented with lace inserts in the skirt and train. A beaded head dress held her floor length sheer veil and she carried a bouquet of red roses, carnations, and chrysanthemums.

The matron of honor was attired in a blue gown enhanced by a blue tiara. Her bouquet was of pink carnations and mums.

In the afternoon a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents.

The couple will make their home on a farm near Dorchester, Wis.
