Springer, Elsie (Marriage - 4 Apr. 1949)

Dale Ridderbusch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ridderbusch, and Miss Elsie Springer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Springer, of the town of Holton, exchanged marriage vows Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the parsonage of St. Peter’s Lutheran church. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler performed the ceremony.

Attending the couple were Miss Leona Springer, sister of the bride, and Neal Ridderbusch, brother of the groom.

The bride wore a dark blue crepe dress, accented by a corsage of gardenias. Her sister wore a flamingo dress and a corsage of white carnations.

Following the ceremony a reception was held for about 50 guests at the home of the bride’s parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Ridderbusch left early Monday evening for Seattle, Washington, where they plan to live. They will spend a few days with his sister, Mrs. Joyce Cessna, and attend her wedding to Ralph Libsack, on April 14.
