Elstrom, Arlene Vivian (Marriage - 7 May 1949)

Miss Arlene Vivian Elstrom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Elstrom, and Frederick J. Foker, son of William J. Foker, of Chippewa Falls, were united in marriage, Saturday, May 7th, Judge Orrin Larrabu performed the ceremony at the court house in Chippewa Falls.

Attending the couple were the bride’s sister, Miss Jean Elstrom, of Chicago, and Carl J. Lehrer, of Chippewa Falls, a friend of the groom.

The bride wore an aqua suit with white accessories and her sister wore a brown suit with pink accessories.

A reception was held throughout the day at the home of the bride’s parents and a wedding dance was held at Walter’s pavilion in the evening.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of the school for the deaf at Delavan and are employed at the Log Cabin night club at Chippewa Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Foker, now on a honeymoon in Canada, will be at home to friends after May 25.
