Flick, Marcyana (7 September 1892 - 15 February 1952)
Mrs. Albert Flick, age 59, died at her home in Fairchild on Friday, February 15. The body lay in state at the Georgas Funeral Home until time of services on Tuesday when it was taken to the Fairchild Methodist Church, where services were conducted at two o’clock. The Rev. Joseph Mason was the officiating clergyman. Interment was made in the Fairchild Cemetery.
Mrs. Flick, nee Marcyana Lubinski, was born on September 7, 1892, to Frank and Thekla (Matysek) Lubinski in Jackson County. She attended schools in the Town of Mentor and Humbird High School. On December 17, 1917, she was married to Albert Flick at Humbird. She was formerly treasurer of the Melchor-Matti American Legion Post of Humbird.
She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Donna, at home and one son, Franklin, of West Allis, one grandchild; four brothers, Frank Lubinski and Alexander Lubinski of La Crosse, Anton Lubinski of St. Paul, Minn., and Andrew of Humbird; five sisters, Mrs. George (Gertrude) Howe of La Crosse, Mrs. Louis (Thekla) Stern of Ellsworth, Mrs. Tony (Agatha) Christman of Loyal, Mrs. Regina Pineault of Minneapolis and Mrs. Walter Ford, Minneapolis.
One sister, Anna and an infant daughter preceded her in death.
