In a double ring ceremony Miss Elizabeth La Flex, Downsville, Wis., daughter of Mrs. Ervin Paulter, McFarland, Wis., became the bride of Mr. William Mosher, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis., at the Lutheran parsonage at Menomonie, Wis., with the Rev. John Waerth performing the ceremony on Oct. 31, 1953 at 9:00 a.m.
The bride was given in Marriage by her uncle, Mr. Clarence Stuasel. She wore an aqua dress with rhinestone decorated bodice with cap sleeves. Her flowers were yellow roses with small white mums.
The bride chose Miss D. Bashaw as her maid of honor. She wore an aqua dress with white accessories and her flowers were yellow roses.
The groom was attended by Mr. Clarence Moore of Madison.
A reception was held at the bride’s parental home.
The bride chose a blue suit with white accessories for her going away attire and the couple are spending their wedding trip in southern Wisconsin.
The bride attended Elk Mound High School and was employed at her aunt’s store in Downsville, Wis. The groom is employed in Madison and was recently discharge from the armed services. He was in Korea for 18 months.
Pre-nuptial showers and parties for the couple were given by Mrs. Clarence Sausel and Miss Donna Bashaw.
The couple will reside at 2809 Oak Ridge Ave., Madison, Wis., after their honeymoon in southern Wisconsin.
