Grobelny, Mary #2 (1872 - 14 NOV 1953)

 

Mary Gulzynski Grobelny of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) died suddenly at her home Nov. 14, 1953. She was born in Poland in 1872 and came to the United States at the age of 14. She was married to Frank Gulzynski in 1890 in Buffalo, N.Y., where they resided until 1901, then moved on a farm northeast of Stanley in the Town of Thorp. To this union were born 3 sons and 4 daughters. Two daughters preceded her in death. Surviving her are Anton, Vincent and Louis Gulczynski of Thorp, and Eva Filipiak and Jennie Lijalkiewicz of Stanley.

 

Mary Gulczynski was married to Ignatz Grobelny in 1923. He passed away in 1950. She belonged to the P.N.A., 3rd Order of St. Francis and Rosary Society of St. Hedwig’s Church.

 

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church, Father Piekarski, Father Zoromski and Father Knopka officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
