Kramer, Ernest (25 Dec. 1889 - 2 Jan. 1950)
Funeral services for Ernest Kramer, 60, who died Monday, were held this afternoon at 1:30 at the home in Milan and at 2:00 o’clock at Bethlehem Lutheran church with the Rev. Harold Molotky officiating. Internment was made in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Emil and Albert Venzke, Oscar Schauer, Emil Hoeft, Rueben Hamann and Ervin Zahorka.
Ernest Kramer was born Dec. 25, 1889 in the town of Holton. On Oct. 22, 1913 he was married to Miss Clara Olson. They made their home on a farm six miles east and one and one-half miles north, which Mr. Kramer had purchased, and they lived there until last April when he sold it to his son, Orin, and went to Milan to live.
Mr. Kramer suffered a stroke about a year ago and had recovered sufficiently to be around.
On New Year’s night, he had attended church and was apparently all right when he retired. Death, caused by embolism, occurred at 2:15 Monday morning.
He leaves his widow and two children, Orin, and a daughter, Mrs. Virgil (Violet) Siemering, of Omaha, Neb.
One brother, Anton Kramer, of Abbotsford, also survives.
