Sorenson, E. M. Mrs. (17 July 1866 - 15 Feb. 1950)

Funeral services for Mrs. E. M. Sorenson, 83, who died at St. Paul Feb. 15, following a ten day illness, were held Friday afternoon at Ogema where burial was made.

Mrs. Sorenson was born July 17, 1866 at Primrose, in Dane County. She was married to E. M. Sorenson, Dorchester April 24, 1888. After her marriage they lived at Dorchester, Phillips, and Abbotsford and for 14 years at St. Paul.

While at Abbotsford Mrs. Sorenson was active in church and community affairs, having served as a member of the library board. She had been a former teacher at Dorchester, Wis.

Mrs. Sorenson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. (Anthony) Yocum, St. Paul; two grand sons, Donald Yocum, Detroit, Mich., and Paul Yocum, St. Paul. There are six great grandchildren and three sisters.
