Jacobi, Leona (Marriage - 30 June 1950)

Miss Leona Jacobi, youngest daughter of Herbert Jacobi, of Wausau, formerly of the town of Holton, and Floyd Braun, of Edgar, were united in marriage at the Lutheran church at Marathon City, Wednesday morning, with the Rev. O. Krause officiating.

Attendants at the ceremony were her two brothers, Orville and Melvin, and her twin sister, Bernice.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at Wausau at the home of the bride’s father, and a wedding dance in the evening was held at the Country ballroom.

Mr. and Mrs. Braun will make their home at Edgar with the groom’s parents. The bride has taught school for the past three years.

Among guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bernitt and Raymond Brunner, of Abbotsford, Wis.
