Woskie, Mina Gertrude (Marriage - 14 Aug. 1950)

Announcement is made of the marriage of Mina Gertrude Woskie, Beloit, and Richard H. Cook, Columbus, Ohio, which took place at the St. Paul Lutheran church at Beloit on Monday, Aug. 14th. The Rev. H. A. Miechlke performed the ceremony.

The bride was attired in a dark navy blue street length dress with an orchid corsage. Mrs. Albert Horn, Milwaukee, acted as matron of honor and wore a brown street length dress and a corsage of gladioli. Mr. Horn served as best man.

A reception for relatives and friends followed after the service at the bride’s home.

After a wedding trip of unannounced destination, the couple will return to Beloit for a few days before going on to Columbus, Ohio, where the groom is employed by the Westinghouse Corp.

Mrs. Cook was formerly a resident of Colby and owner of the Colby Theatre.
