Mahoney, Jean S. (12 DEC 1953)

Norbert Peter Pabich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pabich of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Jean Suzanne Mahoney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilburt J. Mahoney of Owen, were untied in holy bonds of matrimony at 9:00 o’clock on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 12th, 1953 at the Holy Rosary Church at Owen. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Fr. Hubert Crubel.

The bride was attired in a gown of Chantilly lace over ice blue taffeta, ballerina length with a pocket of th same material. Her veil of nylon net was caught to a white satin headband studded with pearls and she wore white satin slippers. She carried a white mother of pearl prayer book, the groom’s gift, and her bridal bouquet was of white orchids and stephanotis.

The matron of honor, Mrs. Emery M. Erickson, sister of the bride, of Owen, wore a ballerina dress of delft blue nylon net over blue taffeta with matching jacket and slippers. She wore a pearl necklace and a corsage of white and copper baby mums.

Jerome Pabich, brother of the groom, was best man and Emery Erickson of Owen and Raymond Ammentorp of Withee were ushers.

The wedding breakfast was served at the Woodland Hotel in Owen, attended by sixty-five relatives and guests, followed by the reception.

The newlyweds left shortly for Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which will be their future home and where the groom is employed.
