Strozewski, Donna Mae (Marriage - 8 March 1952)
Miss Donna Mae Strozewski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Strozewski
of Black River Falls, became the bride of Alfred George Neumann,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Neumann of Merrillan, at a ceremony
performed at the Evangelical Lutheran church in Black River Falls
on Saturday, March 8, at four o'clock. The Rev. Raymond P. Huss
performed the single ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a
slate blue suit with grey and navy accessories. She wore a corsage
of yellow roses. Her maid of honor, Miss Donna Loomis of Merrillan,
wore a suit of cocoa brown with
brown accessories. She wore a corsage of yellow roses. The groom
was attended by Larry Anger of Merrillan. Devos G. Larson, an uncle
of the bride served as usher.
Betty Amundsen of Black River Falls and Richard Rousey of Alma
Center were the soloists.
Following the ceremony a reception for 60 guests was held in the
Church parlors. The young couple went to Chicago on a
honeymoon.
The bride is a graduate of Black River Falls High School and is at
present employed in the Neillsville Bakery, The groom is a student
at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
Guests from out of town attending the ceremony included Mrs. Emma
Easton, a sister of the groom, and her son, Carl, Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Neuman, a brother of the groom and their son, Walter, all of
Chicago.
