White, Eva (15 JAN 1893 - 27 AUG 1945)
Mrs. James H. White, 51, died suddenly on Monday, Aug. 27, of a heart attack at her farm home in the town of Loyal. Mrs. White (nee Eva Swieso) was born at Columbus on Jan. 15, 1893. She came to Loyal with her parents when a small girl, settling on a farm in the town of Loyal.
She attended rural school in the same township area and layer was employed at the B. W. Colby general merchandise store, until her marriage to Mr. White on Nov. 25, 1915.
Mrs. White lived on a farm nearly all her married life. She was a member of the Loyal Methodist church and member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, with the Rev. M. E. Taylor officiating. Those who served as pallbearers were Carl Christenson, Ray Prior, Vern Millard, Fred Heiking, Milton Hawley and George Rowley.
Those who carried the flowers were Mrs. Carl Christenson, Mrs. Fred Heiking, Mrs. Milton Hawley, Mrs. Dale Hawley, Mrs. Rose Brussow, Mrs. George Rowley, Mrs. Joe Esselman and Mrs. Rueben Bertz. Mrs. Ray Prior, Mrs. Calvin Prior, James Colby and Arnold Wicklund sang "Under His Wings" and "Nearer My God to Thee," with Mrs. Wicklund as accompanist. Burial was in the Loyal cemetery.
Surviving are her husband and five children, Kenneth of Greenwood and Eula, Elaine, Melva and Donald, all at home. A sister, Mrs. Francis Sanderson, lives at Columbus and a brother, Walter, at Greenwood.
Those from away who attended the funeral services were Mrs. Francis Sanderson, Albert Hertzburg, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hertzburg and Arch Sanderson, all of Columbus, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Swieso and daughter Ila, of Greenwood, Mrs. Silas Pyburn of Marshall, Mrs. Vern Daggy of Mishawaka, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Owen Swieso of Beloit, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Swieso of Janesville, Mrs. Alice Swieso and daughter, Carol, of Rockford, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Schultz and Mrs. Clifford Shaw, all of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Mathaus of Stetsonville, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Warner of Westboro, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schwartz of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Warner, Mr./ and Mrs. Paul Gravitter of Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. John Loos of Unity, Wis.
The Tribune adds its sympathy to that of friends and neighbors to the bereaved relatives.
